New product; mine says May 2012. Great package for great price. Lots of menu items and DVD has good playback. It’s only 720, but the best is not needed for current location.

Good bedroom TV,
We purchased this TV for our bedroom and it good enough for that purpose. The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is it takes a very slow 3-5 seconds for the picture to appear when changing the channel and it takes about 30 seconds for DVDs to load. Other than that, it is perfect for an intimate setting, not an entertaining one.

Daughter loved IT!,
Other than the package was beat to hell when it arived, it set up and worked flawlessly. My daughter uses it as a moniter as well as a T.V. by hooking her laptop with a HDMI cable and it worked better than I expected as a moiter, Impressed by the price, DVD is nice as well. She loves it and made a great entertainment addition to her room. Beautiful design, great picture, great price,
The razor thin body on this TV seems even thinner in reality than in the photos, it’s basically all display with a tiny bezel. The glass base is a nice modern touch, the TV actually improved the design of my bedroom. Picture quality is fantastic even from close distances – got it just in time to watch the NHL Playoffs in 720p and was beyond satisfied (hockey pucks often disappear on lesser TVs). I was hesitant to buy from an unfamiliar brand but this was a great decision, probably one of the best deals out there. This is definitely a 5 star HDTV for a crazy price. Classic hidden gem on Amazon! I’d definitely buy from TCL again, especially at a price like this.
