Fantastic Television/Desktop Monitor,
First of all, ITS A TELEVISION – and keeping that in mind, this does a great job of that. No smart features, no internet just a tv with a really good display. The contrast is superb, and the colors are vivid but not overdone. The full 1080p makes watching hi-def content a pleasure and for secondary use as a desktop monitor, there is no noticeable lag when gaming (even without using the tv’s own “game” setting). I’m a little confused as to where the headphone jack is – there is definitely a jack that’s the right size (next to the 2nd HDMI port) but above it is written “Service Only” and when I plug the headphones into that the only sound produced is a rhythmic beeping. With that said, considering its size, the tv’s own speakers produce a healthy sound. Bass is admirable and treble is very crisp, with clear mids as long as you keep the volume below half (easy to do). I cant relate to the other review about the “turning – on” issue as mine worked just fine upon arrival and first setup. I’ve been using it for a week now as both a television and computer monitor.
