Couple of things to consider before you buy. I will list them as Pros and Cons.

    Pros:

    1. Great picture quality. 4K is 4K if you can find content. There are a few 4K streams on youtube that you can search for but it is compressed. However the PQ looks great.
    2. Sound is much much better than most of the other sets.
    3. Web browser is a big plus. Works with almost any site that I use. No silverlight support though. Bluetooth keyboard support makes it easier to type.
    4. Up conversion from 720-1080P to 4K is great. One of the best I have seen on similar TV sets.
    5. 2D to 3D conversion strangely works but Active shutter glasses give me a headache. Do not think I will ever use them
    6. The TV looks great mounted on the wall. The bezel is thin and CEO of the house approves it.
    7. Netflix, Youtube and other apps work fine

    Cons:

    1. This set is heavy. Forget hauling it on your own or mounting on the wall. You need help.
    2. The subwoofer “bulge” in the back make it impossible to have a flush/slim mount. I had to use two spacers each to mount. Expect at least 2.5-3″ clearance between the set and the wall.
    3. There used to be a Skype App on the 2013 sets. This application is no loner available on the 2014 Sharp sets. I did not know that as Skype support is mentioned in the user manual. This is a bummer.
    4. There is no AMAZON app and they have no plans of introducing an amazon app either. Do not know if that was the case for the sets manufactured in 2013
    5. The set does not currently play 4K Netflix streams. That may change later.
    6. Consumes around 250-300 watts when switched on, 80 watts or so when in wallpaper mode. I found this to be high but considering this is a 70″ panel I will let this one pass!
    7. Forget about making 4K content play via USB. Do not think it is supported.
    8. I have OTA HD via an antenna. Occasionally I hear a scratch in the sound if reception is interrupted (bird sitting on the antenna etc)

Have had the TV for a week now. I have viewed satellite HD feed, . Blu-ray 1020p discs ,and youtube 4k video clips. The built-in line-doubler works amazingly well, visibly better that the 4K doubler that my home theater system provides ( anthem mrx710) Color depth and saturation is amazing as well. My only nit-pick is that I would have liked local full-array dimming as compared to the edge lit system. This TV comes with a matte screen, which I prefer, since most of the time I view in a lighted room and am not bothered by reflections. At $5000 the set was well priced
