This review is from: Samsung T24C550ND 23.6-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor (Personal Computers)

The picture is excellent. I have the TV connected to a cable box with HDTV. Note I have not connected the set to my computer. I am using it only as a TV. Good instructions are included on an instruction disk (and there are brief set-up instructions in the box on a hard copy). The stand is higher than usual for this type of small TV and good for me since I view it from several positions and most TVs of this kind sit too low on my cart. Negative factors: Certain movements on the screen are blurred once in a long while. I noticed this so far only on hockey games and once in a rolling ticker tape. But otherwise not noticeable. The screen is noticeably less bright when I am standing close and looking down or sitting far right and far left. Finally the sound was unsatisfactory, especially on voices. I hooked up a pair of inexpensive powered speakers (with headphone connection in front also making headphone connection easier) and now I am satisfied with the sound. With my rolling cart I can readjust the position of the TV for wherever I am in the room (my bedroom/office). Unless something else negative with the set becomes noticeable, I am keeping the unit. It will do for a second TV set.

Note: I set the picture following instructions in Consumer Reports on-line instructions for the newest 2013 Samsung 32″ 5000 Series that they recently rated. Only I set the sharpness control for just 1 point up rather than defeating it.

I have just changed the number of stars from 3 to 4 since a 3 and a half can’t be entered and it’s closer to a 4 than a 3 because the average person won’t be watching hockey all the time or walking around the room and I do like the picture otherwise.
