Researched quite a bit prior to purchasing this set locally. Would have purchased via Amazon however due to size and possible issues in returns I thought it best to purchase locally. As luck would have it Costco was running a pre Christmas sales and a free year of Netflix sealed the deal. I’ve had this 46-inch tv in use for almost 60 days since bringing it home and it performs well beyond my expectations. Everything works as advertised and capping it off is the fact I am using a cheap Mohu antenna to pull in all the local stations. Surfing the web is painful especially when using just the remote but once you connect both a usb mouse and keyboard it’s not bad a experience. Netflix is a joy to see but my suggestion is to use your pc to add movies to your queue then access them on your new tv. My Android Nexus 10 tablet plays nicely with the Samsung Youtube app already installed on this Samsung TV. Lots and lots of Samsung apps such as a nice remote in case you misplace your supplied Samsung remote. Had a opportunity to save a few more dollars by going with a Vizio however the picture quality on the Samsung was way better not to mention replacement parts for this TV is very abundant on eBay. TCon board on this TV is on the bottom of the display so be wary about using liquid cleaners. Samsung appears to have learned their lesson using cheap Taiwanese electronic capacitors and gone back to the higher quality expensive Nichicon/Rubicon/Panasonic caps which lessons the probability of power supply board issues down the road when they start to leak and fail. I also ordered a spare Samsung remote on eBay instead of the Samsung store…saved over $25. Be advised Samsung datamines both your sessions and viewing habits which is both good and bad.
There appears to be a total of 4 circuit boards not counting the flat panel display inside the chassis…..TCon, wifi, main logic and finally the power supply board. A few of these boards look to be interchangeable with the larger sized TV’s in the UxxF6350AF family. Right now I am contemplating a 40-inch TV for the master bedroom however Samsung doesn’t have a 120Hz model in this size…darn shame since 60Hz refresh rates are going the way of the dinosaur and old technology. Finally, the built-in web browser is NOT Microsoft IE10 compliant hence more than half the sites visited refuse to display correctly…maybe 2014 models will be better.

March 7th Update! The 90-day no quibble return policy from Costco has come and gone and the set still performs flawlessly. No problems with set whatsoever but should I now have a issue Costco will make good with just dispatching a Samsung service tech. The UN46F6350 TV recently queried me if I wanted to allow/proceed with A Samsung firmware update. Good new and bad news!….the update completed error free and you have the option of cancelling this update mid session. The update took over a hour and a half so plan on updates during a quiet time when you must leave the set completely powered up for the process to complete. What was disturbing is once the update has completed I lost all my sound and video settings along with my Netflix userid and password making it a royal “PITA” to set up the settings once again. Wife’s only concern being the remote’s backlight is extremely dim.
