Purchased this item from Sam’s Club for a little less but this is still a fantastic price for a TV of this quality! I am completely thrilled with tv and the 240Hz is leaps and bounds better than the 120Hz I had…. sports, concerts, Blu Ray, etc are much clearer with the quicker refresh rate! I upgraded from a 32 inch to this and so happy I did especially with features and price!! The only surprise I did have was when I went to hook up my Sennheiser wireless headphones (which by the way – marriage saver!! lol) – there is no headphone jack on this TV! I needed to purchase a digital audio converter (Gefen gtv-dd-2-aa) to get the headset back on line which is not required if you have a home theater system with digital audio in line.

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)
This review is from: Philips 46PFL5505D/F7 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics)

Wonderful picture and I enjoy the television very much, but here are some points that you should know in case you wanted these features:
    – Biggest issue: No standard “Yellow” RCA jack for standard video (Only 2 Component Video connections_Green,Blue,Red); so be aware that typical hookups like an older item that that do not have an HDMI or Component Video will not work unless you like black and white images. (i.e. things like an old receiver, cable tv box, VCR, the Nintendo Wii system-unless you buy the component video cable like I did)
    – No Picture in Picture
    – A lot of the connections are on the side of the tv (for instance all the HDMI connections), so if you do not like people seeing wires, it is a little difficult to hide if the tv protrudes far from the wall when hanging or seeing it wrap around when it is on its stand.
    – Glare on the television is an issue if you are trying to watch in the distance from the side when you are away from your typical seating area for viewing.
