great value,
Have to say.. this TV rocks. imo the color and deep blacks + subtle grays beat the pants off the more expensive brands. even samsung, by far.
setup is easy, navigation is well thought out and simple as well. setting up the wireless net is a cinch.
its nice that it has a coax input as well as multiple hdmi’s, for those who need it.
sound is good. decent bass, highs are ‘ok’, as good as you get w/o tweeters i guess. i have this thing hooked up thru a yamaha system, though.. and it sings.
no ghosting, and fantastically smooth transitions.
the only reason i give this 4 stars out of 5 is because it does have verrrry subtle bleeding in all four corners. top right, the most. but what LED tv doesn’t?
honestly, you don’t notice it when the movies are playing, maybe a just a little during the wide screen format with top and bottom black bars.
channel changing slightly lags. the remote is pretty basic and easy to use, but wish it fit better in the hand, and didn’t have the slick black backside (oily hands watch out).
i also wish the mute button was more prominent. that’s just my personal taste..
being that this model costs $500 less than the same size LED samsung, and has the better picture – it’s all around a pretty good deal.
