I’ve purchased these lights from a local retail outlet and replaced my regular outdoor incadescent floodlights with them. They do burn very brightly-just as brightly as the incadescent bulbs-but take a very long time to warm up, especially in the winter (NJ). I would never let this discourage purchasing and using these bulbs, but if you think indoor bulbs take a while, prepare yourself!
