Awesome TV! I was a little hesitant to buy it because of the lack of reviews, but really glad I did. This is Samsung’s entry level 3D 2011 model, but the only thing indicating that is the price. I’m not sure if you can get a better deal on a 55″ 3D capable LED TV.

PROS: Looks awesome, 0.5″ bezel makes it look great! WiFi is built-in, so no need to spend another $60 on an adapter.

CONS: There really aren’t any, besides being able to tweak a lot of picture settings which can be a burden for people with OCD 🙂

This is really an amazing TV. I’m not a big 3D person, but it’s pretty incredible to watch 3D Blu-ray in your own home. Very vivid colors, crystal clear picture, and I think the sound is great (compared to our old 44″ Magnavox LCD). I can’t believe how thin it is, too! I bought at the right time…..the very next day the price increased by $600. This TV also is one of the top rated on Consumer Reports.

One note about the Skype: you have to buy a Samsung Skype camera, which is around $120-$170. We were disappointed that this wasn’t noted anywhere online, and it took a long and frustrating webchat with Samsung to figure out you can’t just use any webcam. Haven’t been able to try the Skype feature (very excited to)….our camera should be here this week.
