  • Equipped with HDTV tuner for over the air, live Digital TV (DTV) broadcasts and QAM tuner for unscrambled cable channels.
  • This HDTV meets the highest HDTV resolution. 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels tall results in clearer details and smoother images.
  • HDMI is the industry standard for the highest possible digital audio, video, and data signals. The L55S603 has 5 HDMI inputs for connecting your cable/satellite boxes, Blu-ray Disc players, computers, digital camcorders, gaming systems and more.

I would put this next to any led tv
and ask you to explain why you feel the led
picture is better.Led tv is so over priced.

The audio and video on this tv is OUTSATNDING!!A+
I own 2 and they have been equally great,The led
lens are way too glossy ,the antiglare on this tv
rocks and still produces a stunning picture.

The sound is phenomenal for a lcd product.

This is a steal at this price, you won’t
    be disappointed.The color reproduction
    is phenomenal,the audio and video
    calibration features are abundant
and effective,I have 2 of the latest
sharp aquos that can’t touch this.

I do not regret buying this product.

My Experience began with a 61″ Hitachi Ultravision 1000 line CRT projection TV. I believe we purchased it in 1996 and have been watching it ever since without one service call. The picture on it was awesome. So it makes sense that I would stick with what works for me. It’s very hard to find a review on the internet for this TV but I did find several. The only bad reviews were “damaged in shipping” and one mans ignorance of the difference between analog content and 1080P content. The picture is just as bright as any LED/LCD that I’ve seen. I have an upscaling DVD player that upscales standard DVD’s to 1080P and all our old DVD’s look superb when we play them through this system. Since I use a separate surround sound system I can only say that the sound on the TV is exceptional when I checked it out. The picture is better than many I’ve seen that cost much more and as good as many I’ve seen that cost a whole lot more. My theory is to purchase the best picture possible with a minimum amount of frills that many people have problems with. You can always add media adapters and/or computers.
