Make it fit,
It’s true, this is not made for the Acer 6 cell. I wasn’t sure when I purchased this and the description doesn’t say if it is or if it isn’t for the Acer 6 cell. However, since I had already purchased it and needed something immediately (and the quality is high) and really didn’t feel like the hassle of returning, I decided to make it work. You’ll notice how durable and stretchable the material is. The first time I placed it in, I stretched it to make it fit. Over time, it has become a perfect fit. I found that I must place it in with the battery side facing me and not the crease.
As far as how it works, well it’s excellent. I take my netbook to work with me everyday and most mornings I’m in a rush so I toss it in the car on the passenger side and don’t think about it until I get to work. So one morning I got out of the car and opened the passenger side and the netbook comes falling right out of the door right onto the street. No worries. When I got to the job and took it out of the Bau Bau Meory foam, not a scratch, ding or anything wrong with it. It protects the “insides” of the netbook as well because it still runs just like it never fell.
The only reason I’m giving it a 4 because no, it’s not really made for the Acer 6 cell, but you can make it work.

Quality sleeve, simple design, attention to detail.,
I use this for my EeePC and fits perfectly. The memory foam really protects my laptop. And the inner layer of faux suede material makes the product different than others. I will get their 13″ sleeve for my daughter’s MacBook for sure.
